Two sizes, and the difference between them
A landing page is one to three pages: who you are, what you do, and how to reach you, done properly. A full website is everything that needs its own page — a catalogue, a menu, bookings, a blog, service pages that can each rank on their own. Most businesses start with the first and grow into the second, and building the first with the second in mind is what makes that an extension rather than a rebuild.
